Coconut Highball
35ml Chivas 12
70ml Coconut Water
100ml Soda Water
ml Squeeze of Lime
ml Lime Wedge, to garnish
Use large cubes of ice (or one long cube) rather than crushed ice to keep your highball cool without over diluting it
Add all ingredients to a highball glass filled to the top with ice
Give a small stir
Garnish with lime wedge and serve
WHY IS IT CALLED A
WHISKY HIGHBALL?
The name has two origins. Ball was bartender slang for glass, and this drink demands a tall one. The railway story runs deeper: at maximum speed, the ball indicator sat highest in the tank, signalled by two short whistle blows and one long. Two shots of whisky, one long pour of soda.
